I was at the Prince of Wales School for just four terms in 1967-68, during which I played in the school band.
My father, Bill McCormick, was an English teacher at the school
from 1964 until he died in 1972. He took
virtually all the "official" school photos during that time, and virtually all the pictures published
in "Impala", so I have a fairly sizeable collection of b/w prints of the school grounds, and of
house and sports teams. (Note from Webmaster: We are all indebted to John for supplying us with quality scans of
his father's superb photos which now grace many parts of the web site)
As for me, I went back to school in the UK, then to Rhodes University in South Africa, then
lived in London for eight years, then came to the United States in 1986. I am now a professor of
political science at Indiana University, and am married (Leanne) with two young boys
(Ian and Stuart).
