Memories of School.....swimming for Rhodes House, wooden classrooms, cross country races
past Power & Cable and into the valley. Girls (from the Convent), underwear on the flagpole
in the quad! The look-out towers that were still standing next to the playing fields near
Rhodes House, but were destroyed when they became unstable.
Since leaving School, I worked at KCC in various factories before going to Scotland
to college for 2 years. Spent 2 years back home before heading south to the then Rhodesia
where I spent time playing soldiers for Ian Smith! Headed further south to South Africa in
1975 where I have been ever since.
Presently I am working for Nestlé and have been for 17 years. Am currently working in the
Head Office as part of a world wide project team standardizing all aspects of Nestlé business.
Still keeping fit by cycling and will be going for my 6th Argus Tour in March 2003.
I paid a very emotional visit to Princo in November 2005; very interesting to see the changes that have occurred and to
see how well the grounds have been maintained.
