I was in Rhodes House under Burton (Grumbles) and Hogg the English master now deceased.
I played the part of Lucy in the production of The Rivals and still have the programme.
I have a copy of The Impala for 1960 with my prize-winning poem in it.
I also remember Roger [Hank] Whittaker both at the Princo and in my first year at the Delamere
High School for Boys in Southill where I was a new entry pupil until my father moved to Eldoret
to become the Post Master.
I returned to East Africa in 1968-70 and taught at Kibosho in Tanzania. I have been invited to
return on a fortnight's lecture tour, next year (2003), around the Masonic Lodges of East Africa.
