After leaving School, went to University College London, and whilst there set up
the U.K. branch of the Old Cambrian Society with others: George Coventry, Tim Capon, Peter Simpson and John Louis Reide.
"For my sins" I have been Chairman of the Old Cambrian Society (UK) since 1961.
